The Mission of This Project

By offering arts and crafts activities within these shelters, we provide an avenue for individuals to channel their emotions, explore their identities, and reclaim a sense of agency over their lives.
Art transcends language and cultural barriers, making it an inclusive and universal medium for communication. Regardless of background or experience, anyone can find meaning and purpose in the creative process. Through painting, drawing, sculpting, or crafting, participants can find moments of joy, peace, and connection amidst their hardships.
Furthermore, engaging in artistic creations fosters a supportive community within the shelter. It encourages collaboration, empathy, and mutual respect among residents, creating a space where individuals can share their stories and support one another on their journey towards healing and empowerment.
Our Goals
Our aim is not only to provide materials and instruction but to cultivate a sense of hope and possibility. By nurturing creativity and self-expression, we empower these women and their children to envision brighter futures for themselves and their families beyond the confines of their current circumstances.
Firstly, we would love to raise money to be able to buy arts and crafts materials, especially journals for writing, which are in need for women shelters.
Secondly, we would collect new and gently use arts & crafts materials for women shelters. You can contact us to arrange a drop off or a pick up.
