Honouring Arts Exhibitor Registration

Welcome to our first Honouring Arts Festival—a collaboration between GoūtArt Altruism and Fiat Farm. We are thrilled to provide the community with a one-stop local experience, offering a unique and intimate connection with active and retired military, first responder and hospital practitioner artists and artisans.

Our friends, at Fiat Farm, have graciously offered to open up their wonderful farm as the venue, making it a unique, stress-free and picturesque setting for the event.

The Role of Exhibitors at Honouring Arts

At Honouring Arts, exhibitors play a unique and essential role in celebrating creativity, storytelling, and service. Unlike vendors who sell their work, exhibitors are invited to showcase a single, meaningful piece or mini series that embodies their journey, experiences, or artistic expression. This exhibit serves as a tribute to their craft and the deeper narratives behind their work.

What Exhibitors Present

Each exhibitor will display one carefully chosen piece or mini series, accompanied by:

  • A Title – A meaningful name for the artwork or creation.
  • An Artist Bio – A brief introduction to the exhibitor, their background, and their connection to the theme of Honouring Arts.
  • The Story Behind the Piece or Series – An explanation of its significance, inspiration, and any personal experiences tied to its creation.

Art Drop-Off Guidelines

  • Drop-Off Window: One week before the event (specific dates and times will be provided).
  • Location: Specify drop-off location – e.g., event venue or partner organization space will be provided.
  • Labeling: Each piece should be labeled with the artist's name, title of the work, and a short description or story behind it.
  • Packaging: If the artwork requires special handling, exhibitors should ensure it is securely packed and ready for display.
  • Confirmation: Artists will receive a confirmation once their piece is received and properly set up.

Why This Matters

Honouring Arts is dedicated to recognizing the creative spirit of those who serve, including active and retired military personnel, first responders, healthcare practitioners, and community service members. Many of them turn to art as a means of healing, self-expression, or reflection, and this exhibition provides a platform for them to share their journey with the community.

By exhibiting rather than selling, participants can focus on storytelling, connection, and recognition. Visitors will have the chance to engage deeply with each piece, understanding not just its artistic value, but also the personal and emotional depth it carries.
