Supporting Those Who Support Others
Ability Hive donate 2% of all sales to initiatives and local non-profit organizations that serve autism and disability communities. Even more, 5% of their apparel line proceeds go towards these important initiatives. In September, we were lucky to be one of the beneficiaries.
We are incredibly grateful to Ability Hive for their generous support. Thanks to their donation of $728.68, we are able to provide more materials and opportunities for our Heart & Art afternoon crafts for caregivers. Their contribution will allow us to create meaningful experiences for participants and introduce them to other families going through similar journey.

Art programs often take place in group settings, fostering a sense of community and reducing feelings of isolation among caregivers. This social interaction is crucial for emotional support and overall well-being, helping to decrease levels of perceived stress and burnout. Additionally, art-based interventions have been linked to improved mood and increased feelings of social support, further supporting caregivers' mental health.

From Neighbours to Partners in Inclusion
Sometimes, the most beautiful collaborations come from the simplest beginnings — like being neighbours. Our journey with Ability Hive started close to home, when we first connected as two families raising daughters with special needs. Over time, we shared stories, challenges, and hopes for creating more inclusive spaces where every family could feel supported and understood.
